  • Google Play now requires apps to limit their access to shared storage on the device. Thus this version of the app uses Google’s "Storage Access Framework" to get access only to certain, CalenGoo specific, directories. E.g. the directory for the backups has to be placed somewhere, where it isn’t deleted when CalenGoo is being deleted and reinstalled. E.g. you can create a subdirectory in the "Download" directory for this purpose.
