  • The hybrid sync mode (to sync via Android and Google Calendar at the same time, it is visible under "Settings", "Accounts" if the Android account and a Google account is active) can now use all future events from the Android calendar instead of the time range "+/- 1 month".
  • The design of the three pop-up reminder screens has been improved for Android versions of 3.0 and newer.
  • Long pressing a color entry in the settings now allows you to set the default color for that entry.
  • Another option has been added for "Settings", "Display and Use", "General", "Back button": "Exit needs double tap". That means you have to press the back button twice instead of once to exit the app.
  • Fixed a bug where an event without a status (which seems to have been caused by an erroneous Exchange sync implementation) couldn't be edited or saved.
  • Added an option to turn the automatic update of widgets off to save battery power ("Settings", "Display and Use", "Maintenance", "Update widgets automatically"). However the widgets consume only a small amount of battery power so usually this option shouldn't be turned off.
  • Completed tasks from the past were not displayed in the calendar views if "Settings", "Tasks", "Show overdue tasks also on original due date" was turned off. This has been fixed.
  • When syncing via OAuth2 CalenGoo accidentally automatically always set a time zone for the start and end time. The used time zone was correct but it isn't necessary to set a time zone when the user didn't explicitly set one. Now a time zone is only set when the user chooses a time zone.
  • When using certain settings tasks in the task list could only be opened by tapping the empty area of a task and not by tapping the title. This has been fixed.
  • Added an entry "Copy" to the long press menu of the agenda view and the search view. This way a copy of an event can be opened in the edit screen.
  • Fixed a bug regarding the "in x days" relative date display in the agenda widget. It wasn't displayed under certain circumstances.
  • Reduced the complexity of the month widget with banners because it caused problems with some launchers.
  • Added support for the fonts "Roboto Thin", "Roboto Light", "Roboto Condensed" and "Roboto Bold".
  • Fixed a bug where the event couldn't be uploaded via OAuth2 to Google Calendar if a time zone was set for the start time but not for the end time of an event.
  • On some devices the repeat alarm function doesn't work reliably any more. Added some changes to fix these problems.
  • Added additional parameters to create tasks via an intent e.g. from Tasker (title, note, priority, duedate, tasklist).
  • Fixed a bug that was reported via a crash report. The crash occurred under certain circumstances when saving a recurring event into the Android calendar.
  • Added more detailed debug output under "Settings", "Information", "Widget events" to examine widget related problems.
  • Fixed a bug regarding the colored background bars in the week view. It is now possible to display them only for timed events but not for all-day events.
  • Fixed a bug under "Settings", "Reminders" where the snooze type "Start time of event minus" didn't seem to stick. It was used but it didn't show "Start time of event minus" when returning to the screen.
  • Added a workaround for an Android bug that could make tasks as uncompleted when they were completed in the notification pop-up dialog.
  • Added a hint to the gear button in the upper right corner of the main screen. The hint explains that on many devices without a menu button the menu can be opened by long pressing the "recent apps" button (the button with two rectangles).
  • It is now possible to specify what a double tap in the "show as day columns" mode of the portrait week view should do.
  • It is now possible to hide the end time of events in the agenda view.
  • Fixed a bug regarding the drag&drop snap in minute interval in the landscape day view.
  • Fixed a bug where on certain devices not all snoozed reminders were displayed when several were snoozed at the same time.
  • Added a simple function to attach local files (images and photos taken with the camera) to events.
  • Added a switch to suppress the reminders of the Android calendar app. This can be useful if the reminders are displayed twice, i.e. once by CalenGoo and once by the Android calendar.
  • Added a GridView to display attached images in the detail view and the edit view.
  • When displaying a linked contact in the event's detail view, the primary phone number is displayed together with a photo and an "Open" button instead of randomly using one of the contact's phone numbers. Additionally the type label of the phone number (e.g. "work" or "home") is displayed.

  • A default reminder for new tasks can be configured.
  • Short numbers (e.g. ZIP codes) are no longer linked as phone numbers in the location field even if phone number linking is turned on for the location field.
  • Fixed a bug regarding the search in Android calendars when the Android calendar didn't return a result.
  • The edit view can now display the photo of the attendees like the detail view.
  • Added clear buttons to the edit fields in the edit view.
  • Added an option to display the weekday of the events in the search view.
