Beta version of CalenGoo for Android

A beta version is a version between two official versions. It contains new functions but it hasn’t been tested as much as the official version. Beta versions are released more often than official releases so if you are interested in trying the latest features or helping to find bugs in CalenGoo you can download the beta version by becoming a tester on https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.calengoo.android:

Just click on "Become a tester" to join the test. Afterward you will be able to download the latest beta versions from Google Play instead of the official versions.

Returning to the official version

If you want to stop receiving beta versions, just open the same link again. The page will now contain a link "Leave the program" to stop getting beta versions and returning to the official version:

After stopping receiving beta versions by clicking the "Leave the program" link you will get only official updates again. Usually you should be able to install the next official update when it becomes available, replacing your beta version.

Only if that doesn't work, you have to do this:
  1. Turn "Settings > Display and Use > Maintenance > Move DB to SD card" on in CalenGoo so that CalenGoo's database isn't deleted when uninstalling CalenGoo.
  2. Uninstall CalenGoo e.g. using the "Settings" app.
  3. Install the official version of CalenGoo from Google Play

Participating in the beta version

If you don't just want to get the beta version to fix a certain bug but would like to continue getting beta versions for a longer time, you can join the MeWe group where you can see what has changed with each version and participate in the discussions about new features and changes.
